Who we are

What we collect and why

• Booking and enquiries. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you send us (name, number, message). We use it only to answer you and manage your booking. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd under its own privacy policy.
• Hosting. This site is hosted by Vercel. When you visit, Vercel's servers receive your IP address, browser type and the page requested, as with any website, and keep them briefly in server logs for security and to keep the site running.
• Images. The photos on this site are delivered by Cloudinary, an image hosting service. Like any website request, this sends your IP address and browser type to Cloudinary so it can return the image. Cloudinary sets no cookies.
• Website statistics (only if you accept cookies). We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location. Google Analytics does not store your IP address.
• Map (only if you choose to load it). Showing the Google Maps map connects your browser to Google, which may set its own cookies.

We have no accounts, forms or newsletters, and we never sell your data.

Legal basis

• Statistics and map: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Bookings and enquiries: steps you ask us to take before a service.
• Hosting and image delivery: our legitimate interest in running the site securely, quickly and reliably.

Third parties and transfers

Google Ireland Ltd (Analytics, Maps) and WhatsApp Ireland Ltd may process data outside the EU, including in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Vercel (hosting) and Cloudinary (images) may also process visit data outside the EU; see Vercel's and Cloudinary's privacy policies.

How long we keep it

• Statistics: 2 months, then deleted automatically by Google Analytics.
• Messages: only as long as needed to handle your booking or enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Email geral@noormahalhalal.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
